Weightlifter Abdur Rehman won a silver medal for Pakistan in the 77kg category of the 5th Commonwealth Youth Games Weightlifting event held in Samoa.
Rehman was able to lift 106kg in Snatch and 136kg in Clean + Jerk, totalling 242kg, which was good enough to earn him second place on the medals table.
This is his second biggest victory. Earlier in January, he won a gold medal for Pakistan at the Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships held in Doha, Qatar.
Pakistan have won two silver medals at the Commonwealth Youth Games, both in weightlifting as earlier Talha Talib earned the first medal for the country.
