MINGORA: Another patient has been diagnosed with dengue fever in Swat district on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases reported from the region in 2015 to five. “This has raised concerns that the virus might spread to other parts of Swat,” an official of Saidu Teaching Hospital administration told The Express Tribune on Tuesday. The patient has been identified as 17-year-old Murad Ali, a resident of Amankot. “Previous cases were reported from Rajabad and its surrounding areas on the outskirts of Mingora,” the official said. “These areas are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Now the virus has started spreading to other areas.”
