The Americans go into the clash at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, off a 2-1 friendly win over Peru.
On Sunday, Klinsmann said he had called up Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley, Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson and Stanford University forward Jordan Morris.
As the three were added, defender Matt Besler and goalkeeper William Yarbrough have rejoined their clubs.
“We were impressed with Matt Besler this past week,” said Klinsmann. “We saw what we had to and Sporting KC badly wanted him back for Wednesday, so we agreed to send him home.”
Forward Clint Dempsey had been expected to join the team ahead of the Brazil friendly, but with Dempsey recovering from a hamstring injury it was decided to have him remain with his club team Seattle Sounders.
