Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will contribute to set examples of sacrifices and professionalism.

“The passion of the PAF to safeguard the aerial frontiers in 1965 war rendered them victorious in the vastness of skies,” Aman said while talking to state-owned Pakistan Television

He said the armed forces are fully capable to defend every inch of the country and confront any challenge, adding that whether it is war against terrorism or conventional war, the PAF is leading from the front in all domains.

“With the passage of time, the role of the air force has changed all over the world and the PAF is meeting these steep challenges,” he said.

He said the PAF was celebrating Defence Day this year in a different manner by remembering the values of sacrifices and professional commitment of the heroes of 1965 war. “On the occasion, the PAF is conducting operational exercises related to its actual war fighting potential,” he said.
