Massive blast heard in North Nazimabad, adjoining areas of Karachi

The explosion could be heard in Orangi Town, Lasbela, North Karachi and other areas

A loud explosion was heard in North Nazimabad area of Karachi on Tuesday night, Express News reported.

The explosion was heard in the adjoining areas of North Nazimabad, including Orangi Town, Lasbela, North Karachi, according to the residents.

Authorities are trying to determine the exact location of the blast and the damage caused.

Initial reports of an aircraft crashing at the sit have been denied by the Civil Aviation Authority
