LAHORE: A consumer court issued a notice on Monday to a tailoring business in a suit seeking payment of Rs500,000 damages for its failure to deliver five stitched suits on time. Petitioner Muhammad Jameel Ahmed submitted that when he protested about it the respondent, Bhai Bhai Tailors at Poonch House, Islamia Park, refused to stitch the suits or return the cloth. He said the respondent’s behaviour had caused severe inconvenience to him. He requested the court to direct the respondent to pay damages for this.
