Grisly killing: Couple, daughter shot dead in Gujar Khan

The police registered a case and started collecting evidence from the crime scene

The Changa Maira village of Gujar Khan was shaken by a grisly triple murder incident when a man, his wife and their 20-year-old daughter were shot dead by unidentified assailants at their house on Sunday night.


According to locals, the only daughter of the slain couple was supposed tie the knot on Monday before all the three were shot dead by assailants. The victims were identified as Muhammad Altaf, his wife, Sadiqa, and daughter, Sabiha.

Following the brutal killing, SP Dr Ghayas Gul and DSP Mirza Zaman Gujar Khan, the SHO and other police officials reached the crime scene and shifted the bodies to the tehsil headquarters hospital for medico-legal formalities.  Later, the bodies were handed over to relatives for burial.

The police registered a case and started collecting evidence from the crime scene for further investigation.

According to the locals, the couple had the only daughter and they were making preparations for her marriage with a local resident Tayyab.

Aisha | 9 years ago | Reply Once again a unfortunate case of unlawful killing...the people who committed a atrocious crime are now in the family greiving...they hav most likely paid a bribe to the low life pathetic police and the victims hav no one to support or fight their case....The law nd government of this country is a disgrace that is why these atrocities happen as rishwath is accepted instead of humanity....those people are in the family who hav done this nd now in the house attending the mourners. Aisha | 9 years ago | Reply This is ridiculous nd then there is no law for the poor...the people that committed the atrocities are the people who are in the house pretending g to grieve. ..they will bribe the pathetic police who jus care fr ther own well being. This case will jus end with no purpose as no one is left to fight their case. Once again shame on pakistanI government the pakistan police and the law.
