Fawad Khan to sing with Alia and Siddharth for Kapoor and Sons
Fawad could play the guitar, bass and drums by the time he was 20
Fawad Khan is a man of many talents, which is why Karan Johar wants him to act AND sing in his upcoming film Kapoor & Sons. But there's more: the Pakistani heartthrob won't be singing alone.
According to Mumbai Mirror, Fawad Khan, who was the lead vocalist of Entity Paradigm (EP) is all set to croon his heart out in his upcoming film along with co-stars Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
Earlier, rumours stated that Fawad and Alia were to sing a duet for the film, and the song was going to be either be a romantic number or a party song. However, all rumours have now been confirmed.

We don't doubt Fawad will set hearts on fire considering his vocals and long history with music -- he could play the guitar, bass and drums by the time he was 20. Alia, on the other hand, made her debut as a playback singer with AR Rahman's Sooha Saha in Highway, following up with Samjhawan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
"Siddharth is yet to make his mark musically but Shakun (director) doesn't expect him to go in for any kind of training as this is not serious singing. He wants to keep it casual and fun," said a source.
As far as the song goes, the makers don't have any references. They've heard a few tracks available and have also asked music directors to compose something fresh. "They are looking for a fun track with a young, energetic vibe like the film," added the source.

Director Shakun Batra confirms this saying, "Yes, currently we are in the process of locking a track. Karan Johar has some exciting ideas for the promotional unit and I am looking forward to shoot with all of them again."
