Odious actions: Neighbour rapes minor in Swat

MINGORA: A man raped a minor in Charbagh area of Swat district on Friday. Charbagh SHO Hayat Ali Shah told The Express Tribune a complaint was filed against the incident by the father of a 10-year-old girl. “As per the report, Akhtar Hussain, the complainant’s neighbour, raped the girl while she was on her way to school,” Shah said. “Hussain was taken into custody. During interrogation, he confessed to raping the girl.” The SHO added the victim was taken to Saidu Teaching Hospital and is in critical condition. A case has been registered against Hussain under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
