Choudary, 48, was charged with inviting support for the extremist group on social media from June 2014 to March 2015 under section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000. He is said to be from Ilford, east London.
He is currently on remand and his plea will be heard before his trial begins on January 11, 2016. The court judge has set a plea and case hearing for December 11, 2015.

Another accused, Mohammed Rahman, 32, from White Chapel, east London, has also been charged with the same offence and will be tried along with Choudary.
Their previous statement indicated that they would be pleading as not-guilty.
