LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab leader Qasim Zia filed a bail application in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday. Barrister Ali Zafar, counsel for Zia, told the court the National Accountability Bureau had filed a false case against his client. He said Zia had already left the company accused of fraud. He said the NAB had no evidence against Zia after 16 days of his physical remand. Zafar requested the court to grant bail to Zia.  The NAB had arrested Zia in a fraud case. On Monday, the court had sent him on a 14-day judicial remand after his 16-day physical remand ended.
