Umar Akmal's woodwork rattled by female leggie in Norway

Isma Ahmed, the bowler, was happy to bag the wicket of the Pakistan batsman

Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal would have been dismissed in all possible ways while representing the country but being bowled out by a female would never have been on his wish list.

In a cricket match being played in Norway during a festival organized by the Pakistanis in the country, Umar came on to the crease and played some shots to grace the occasion but while trying to nudge a ball from the off-side towards leg, he managed to pull it on to his stumps.

The bowler, Isma Ahmed, one of the players of the both all-girls team, was ecstatic after the dismissal and her teammates were equally happy to see their leg-spinner bag the wicket of Umar.

It was a nothing delivery that Umar pulled on to the stumps from wide outside off.



After the match Umer talked a bit with the local media and said that it was fun to be here. Pakistanis living here have given him a lot of love and respect and he was more than happy to be a part of this Mela.
