RAWALPINDI: US author and journalist Mark Seigel on Monday expressed willingness to record a statement via video conference. Seigel’s statement will be recorded on August 26 around 7pm in the special anti-terrorism court established at the Rawalpindi commissioner’s office.  Seigel, a close friend of the late prime minister Benazir Bhutto and an important prosecution witness, earlier refused to appear in the court citing security reasons. The key witness will allegedly record his statement against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf and threats allegedly made by the former military ruler via telephonic call and email to the slain PPP leader.
