Addressing issues: Exporters to meet prime minister

FPCCI President said leading exporters will have an opportunity to discuss their issues directly with the PM

FAISALABAD: A high level meeting of leading exporters with Premier Nawaz Sharif will be arranged very soon to discuss and resolve export related issues, disclosed Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), President, Mian Muhammad Adrees. He said leading exporters will have an opportunity to discuss their issues directly with the PM during this meeting. Continuing, he said that earlier the FPCCI was side-lined because of its inability to assert for the rights of the business community at this apex forum. The efficacy of this institution has been restored and now it is invited in all business and economy related issues at the highest forums. He was appreciative of the excellent performance of FCCI and said that it has been placed among top five Chambers of Commerce of the country. “This performance is due to the efficient working of its standing committees,” he said.
