I can’t believe there are people who think that Islam is somehow threatened by one person!
LONDON: This is in response to the article published on December 24, “Veena Malik and the moral brigade” by Raza Rumi. I can’t believe that there are people out there who think that Islam is somehow threatened by, or Pakistan’s image is compromised by, one person! Talk about being insecure. Also, there is a hint of misogyny in these types of arguments. Nobody questions male actors, singers and cricketers from Pakistan who cross the border and prance around in ‘western’ cloths and mingle with actresses and models.
