Bet: Five persons held for gambling

RAWALPINDI: The Banni police claimed to have arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in online gambling. On a tip-off, a police party raided a café in the Kartarpura and held Kashif, Rizwan, Liaquat and Maqsood on internet gambling charges. The police seized an unspecified amount of cash, five cell phones and other equipment from their possession. A case has been registered against them and further investigation is under way, the police said.
