Strong jerk: Woman injured in metro bus accident

The victim has been identified as Tabinda Bibi, a resident of Koral

RAWALPINDI: A 65-year-old woman was injured in an accident involving the Metro Bus Service. The victim has been identified as Tabinda Bibi, a resident of Koral. According to a rescue official, the incident took place at Saddar Metro Station around 7am on Saturday morning when a metro bus driver accelerated the vehicle resulting in the woman losing control and falling on the floor inside the bus. The woman suffered a deep cut on her hand and was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities.  Later, the woman was sent home as she was stable.
