Fake Degree: ECP disqualifies PML-N lawmaker
PML-N candidate Arif Chaudhry had violated sections 61, 62 and submitted a fake degree in the past elections
MULTAN:
Election Tribunal has disqualified PML-N MNA Muhammad Arif Chaudhry, from Okara, after a fake Intermediate certificate charge against him was proved true. The tribunal judge Justice Rana Zahid Mehmood, after hearing arguments from both sides declared PML-N MNA disqualified. Arif Chaudhry was declared winner from NA-144 in 2013 general elections. Complainant had earlier filed a petition stating that PML-N candidate Arif Chaudhry had violated sections 61, 62 and submitted a fake degree in the past elections. Arif Chahudry who joined PPP in 2008, was disqualified because of not holding degree of B.A. But only close friends of Arif Chaudry knew that he did not even possess degree of F.A.
