Deadly sport; Car race leaves two dead

The police registered a case against them but have made no arrests so far

Two persons were killed on Friday when their car lost control during a race and ramped into a roadside barrier in Golra.


The deceased were cousins and their names have yet to be revealed. Following the incident, Mazhar Ali lodged a complaint with the local police that Shahid Iqbal, Mazhar and Abdul Rehman are responsible for his brother and cousin’s death.


The police registered a case against them but have made no arrests so far.


According to details, the incident took place in Sector G-13 when three motorists were trying to overtake each other.
