If the success of Akshay's similar rom-com Singh is Kinng is anything to go by, this one should be just as big of a hit!
Akshay Kumar's much-awaited film Singh is Bliing is due to release in October and its theatrical trailer has finally been released.
The trailer starts off with Raftar's (played by Akshay) father giving him an ultimatum: work for one of his friends or marry the unattractive daughter of his other friend.
Raftar's obvious response to this ultimatum? Escaping to an exotic locale and falling hard for the lovely Amy Jackson, an English-speaking, karate-chopping, no-nonsense type of girl. What ensues is the usual progression of a Bollywood rom-com, perhaps made a little more interesting by the glaring language barrier between the two.
The rest of the trailer follows the main character in his quest to bring the bad guys to justice while engaging in some serious muscle flexing and dare-devil action sequences. All this, of course, while simultaneously attempting to the win the heart of the character played by Amy Jackson.
