FAISALABAD:
A five-year-old girl who went missing last week was found dead on Saturday night. The Bhowana SHO said Minahil, daughter of Iftikhar Kalyar, had been abducted while she was playing with some children of the neighbourhood.
Amjad Kalyar, an uncle of the deceased, told police that a neighbour had proposed marriage of his son with his niece but her parents had turned it down. He said he believed the man and his accomplices had abducted the girl and had killed her. “Her body was found near his house,” he said. The Bhowana SHO said police had detained the nominated neighbour and his son.
