New time: Tower clock replaced
Channar told newsmen that the high school building had been completed in 1906

Channar told newsmen that the high school building had been completed in 1906. He said the clock, made by the British Big Bang Company, was erected on the tower in 1922. Channar said the clock had broken down 30 years ago. “Several attempts were made to fix it but it could not be repaired.” He said last year, the commissioner had taken the initiative to replace it.
