Snapchat saw how Pakistan turned white and green to commemorate the occasion

The world saw how we celebrate Laylatul Qadr, it saw how we celebrate Eid, and now courtesy of Snapchat, the world has seen how Pakistan celebrated its independence. 

Pakistan marked its 69th Independence Day on Friday when the country turned white and green to commemorate the occasion.

Patriotic Pakistanis got creative and shared their celebratory snaps on the prominent social media platform which showcased a live feed 'Independence Day Pakistan'.

Contributions to the live feed included the history of Pakistan, the hoisting of the national flag, prominent landmarks of Pakistan including the Wagah Border and the Baadshahi Masjid, creative outfits and some dancing and singing.
