Digital Age: Info dept undergoing revamp

PESHAWAR: K-P Information and Public Relations Secretary Muhammad Abid Majeed said the department is undergoing numerous reforms keeping requirements of the digital age in mind. According to a handout issued on Wednesday, Majeed said the Automated Information and Reporting System and the directorate of information are almost complete and will soon be launched. He was meeting a seven-member delegation from the Press Information Department, Islamabad at the Civil Secretariat. The secretary said the new projects will help the government spread awareness about its initiatives, policies and programmes.
