Testing Times : Over 22,000 pupils sit for entrance exam

The result will also be communicated to candidates via text messages on their mobile phones

PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical University (KMU) organised entrance exams for medical and dental colleges across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.  The test was held at the University of Peshawar cricket ground and Islamia Collegiate School ground in the city, Ayub Medical College in Abbottabad, Grassy Ground in Swat and University Wensam College in DI Khan. The test was conducted by Educational Testing and Evaluating Agency (ETEA), while KMU Peshawar made the logistical and administrative arrangements. A total of 22,919 candidates, including 13,654 men and 9,265 women candidates from K-P, tribal belt, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh appeared for the entrance test. The results of the test will be announced on Thursday (today) on KMU’s website www.kmu.edu.pk as well as on ETEA website www.etea.edu.pk. The result will also be communicated to candidates via text messages on their mobile phones.
