ISPR says Pakistani troops gave a befitting response to Indian firing
India’s Border Security Force (BSF) once again resorted to ‘unprovoked’ firing at Nakial, Bagh and Kailer sectors along the Line of Control (LoC), Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
"Pakistani troops gave a befitting response to the Indian firing," Radio Pakistan quoted ISPR as saying.
Earlier this week, a woman was killed as India’s BSF resorted to ‘unprovoked’ firing at Jandrot sector along the Line of Control.

Last month, a civilian had been critically injured as a result of unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the LoC in the Chirikot sector. He later succumbed to his injuries at the Combined Military Hospital.

Both sides have exchanged gunfire multiple times since last month with at least seven people killed on the Pakistani side by the Indian BSF. Dozens more have been left injured by the attacks from across the border.
