Absent from duty: 170 FATA employees served notices
They said if the employees fail to explain their position, they will be sacked
PESHAWAR:
Notices were issued to around 170 employees of Fata for remaining absent from duty for a prolonged period. The action was taken by different FATA departments on the directives of K-P Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan. Officials of FATA Secretariat said the special monitoring cell that was established to oversee staff performance, identified the 170 employees from education, health, works and services and other departments. They said if the employees fail to explain their position, they will be sacked.
