Judgment day: Results of MBBS finals announced

973 students succeed in 2014 session.

PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical University announced the results of its MBBS Final Professional Annual Examinations 2014 on Tuesday.

Out of 1,174 students a total of 973 passed the exams, with a success rate of 82.8%.

According to a notification issued by the examination department of the varsity, Shandana Noor of Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan clinched first position by obtaining 1,644 marks, while Khyber Medical College’s Waqas Ahmad and Hira Ishaq secured second and third positions by obtaining 1,632 and 1,624 marks, respectively.

With flying colours

According to the document, the passing ratio of KMC was 91%, while the success rate of Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad was 82%.

“The success rate of Gomal Medical College DI Khan was 79%,” read the statement. “On the other hand, the passing ratio of Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar was 93%, Saidu Medical College, Swat 83%, KMU Institute of Medical Science, Kohat 96% and Bannu Medical College 92%.”
