Police seal apartment with woman, child inside

Disputed apartment sealed, occupant claims not informed by court.

KARACHI: Police in Karachi on Thursday sealed a residential apartment on court orders, with a woman and child locked inside.

The court had issued orders to seal the disputed apartment on Wednesday. The woman and child had refused to evacuate the apartment after officials arrived to seal it. She alleged that the court had not informed her before the order had been issued.

The police have now sought court orders to have the occupants evacuated.
