Murder case: Under-trial prisoner dies

LAHORE: An under-trial prisoner died at Services Hospital on Sunday. Police had arrested Tanvir Abbas in 2007 in a murder and robbery case. Police said that he used to work in Muhammad Ahmad’s house. On July 11, 2007, he murdered Ahmad and hid his body under a bed. He collected the valuables and fled.  Kot Lakhpat Jail officials said that Abbas had been ill for a week. He had been admitted to the Services Hospital, where he died on Sunday. A post mortem examination has been ordered.
