Bollywood actor said, "When I saw the list, I was shocked to find my name on it. I find it embarrassing," reports the Bollywood.
According to Forbes, Akshay annual earnings -- USD 32.5 million -- equal to Hollywood A-listers George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s combined earnings in the same time frame.

But Akshay doesn't make a big deal out of his stardom. He said, "Yes, from Chandni Chowk (Delhi) to Forbes, it's been surreal."
The 47-year-old actor has completed his 25 years in Bollywood and it has been a "roller coaster ride" for him. "My journey has been like a roller-coaster ride. When I entered this industry, did I think I would be here 25 years later, celebrating one of my best years at nearly 50 years of age? No! Anyone would have thought I was mad for even thinking that," said Akshay.

"But dreams do come true. You need to work like your life depends on it," said the actor, who will soon be seen alongside Siddharth Malhotra in Brothers.

Akshay accredited his parents for his achievements saying, "All my qualities come from what my parents imbibed in me. I am a product of their humility."

"They brought me up well, and I'm full of gratitude for that. Now, I am trying to teach my own kids the same values. If I do half as good [a job] as them, I'll be the happiest man," he added.
