First-aid: Injured shifted to Peshawar

(GOC) for Malakand Major General Nadir Khan also visited Chitral Scouts Hospital

CHITRAL:


A large number of people who were injured in Thursday’s crash landing in Kahoot area were airlifted to Chitral and subsequently shifted to the provincial capital. Officials told The Express Tribune the injured were provided first-aid in Chitral before their departure to Peshawar.  General Officer Commanding (GOC) for Malakand Major General Nadir Khan also visited Chitral Scouts Hospital.

Meanwhile, relief goods were airlifted for the affected population in Garam Chashma. Officials of the armed forces have given preference to the distribution of bottled water among the affected population as most lakes and fountains in the region have been adversely affected by the floods.
