Funeral prayers offered for Mansehra crash victims

Chief of Army Staff along with several other high ranking officers attended the funeral prayers

The funeral prayers of Mansehra helicopter crash victims were offered on Saturday at Chaklala, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed in a statement.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Naval Staff as well as Chief of Air Staff along with a large number of high ranking serving and retired officers were in attendance of the prayers.

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) helicopter, which was carrying flood relief goods, was forced to make an emergency landing in Chitral after developing a technical fault on Thursday.

Reports said PAF’s MI-17 helicopter crash-landed in the Mastuj area of Chitral after it is said to have been partially damaged while carrying out flood relief activities in the region.
