During a high-level meeting with Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah in Karachi, it was decided that renewable energy power projects will be established in Thatta, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Tharparkar, Matiari and Sanghar Districts.

Further, during the meeting , Shah emphasised upon speeding up the process of allotment of land for these projects.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, a Norwegian company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Pakistani company on Tuesday to establish three solar power plants in Pakistan.

Nizam Energy of Sindh and Scatec Solar signed the MoU in Oslo on Tuesday to establish three solar plants to generate 150MW through clean energy in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Norwegian counterpart Erna Solberg witnessed the signing ceremony.
