The ETEA entry test for admissions at University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar will be held on Thursday at 9am, stated a press release issued on Tuesday.


“Test results will be displayed on ETEA website, www.etea.edu.pk and UET’s main notice board at the university’s premises,” read the statement. “Around 14,250 candidates will take the entry test. The exam will be held at centres in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat and DI Khan.” According to the document, the test will be held in the city at University of Peshawar Cricket Ground, opposite Khyber Medical College.

“Gates will open at 6:30am and close at 8am,” stated the press release. “The test will begin at 9am. Students will not be allowed to take the test without their admit cards. Furthermore, use of mobile phones, cameras, calculators and other electronic devices is strictly prohibited during the test.”

The test was originally scheduled for August 2. However, it was delayed due to heavy rain and flash floods in the province.
