The action has been taken after Express aired a story on digging near the ancient site for road construction.
Director Archaeology Department said that the National Highway Authority (NHA) started work on the Larkana-Mohen jo Daro project without permission.
After the objection, the NHA has contacted the archaeology department to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for resuming work on the project.
