Transport facilities: ‘International travel facilities from Bahawalpur to launch soon’

BAHAWALPUR:

Federal Minister for Education Baligur Rehman said on Monday that Bahawalpur railway station would be turned into a model facility.

He was addressing a seminar organised by Bahawalpur Economic Development Forum (BEDF). He said modern machinery would be installed at the railway station. He said international travel facilities would soon be made available in Bahawalpur.The minister said number of flights to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad had increased. He said the Punjab chief minister had approved the establishment of an industrial estate in Bahawalpur. He said Quaid-i-Azam Solar Energy Park would provide electricity to the industrial estate.
