Fighting fraudulence: QAT demands elimination of corruption
QAT also held a rally that passed through different parts of Hyderabad
HYDERABAD:
Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) president Ayaz Latif Palijo urged the federal government to authorise the National Accountability Bureau to eliminate corruption in the Sindh government. “For how long will Asif Ali Zardari be allowed to plunder the wealth of Sindh and shift the looted money to Dubai and London?” questioned Palijo, while addressing the concluding event of the party’s 10-day protest against corruption and terrorism on Saturday. Palijo accused the Pakistan Peoples Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan of working together and ensuring the failure of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project. To mark the completion of the 10-day sit-in, QAT also held a rally that passed through different parts of Hyderabad. The party announced that a two-day sit-in will be organised in Karachi on August 14 and 15.
