The duo defeated top seeds Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 in the semi-final and will now face Belarus’ Aliaksandr Bury and Uzbekistan’s Dennis Istomin in the decider on Sunday.
Earlier, Aisam and Marach had defeated Swiss wildcard duo Henri Laaksonen and Luca Margaroli 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals after registering a 6-3, 6-3 win against Robin Haase and Mikhail Youzhny in the round of 16.
Besides improving on his slump in form, Aisam is also on a mission to regain his fitness after picking up a knee-injury just before the Wimbledon this year as the 2010 US Open finalist nears the end of his Europe tour.
The 35-year-old won the Hall of Fame Championship doubles title in Newport with Britain’s Jonathan Marray last month on
the tour.
