Nearing retirement: Lineman electrocuted in Swabi

SWABI: Gulshad, a lineman of Wapda was working on an electric pole when he received a electric shock. Gulshad fell to the ground and died on the spot. Afzal Ahmed, 20, son of the deceased said Gulshad was appointed as a line worker at Wapda and was about to retire in the near future. Gulshad was laid to rest Thursday evening in Jalbai, Swabi district. The brothers of the deceased, PTI Fazal Ellahi, a large number of Wapda employees and PTI party members attended the funeral.
