Fawad, Sonam will travel to Melbourne for Khoobsurat screening

The duo will be accompanied by Sonam's father, Anil Kapoor

Fawad's debut film will be screened at the Indian Film Festival.

Khoobsurat not only won Fawad Khan a Filmfare award for the best male debut but also opened doors for him in Bollywood. While the actor continues to make waves across the border, news is that his debut film is set to be screened in Melbourne.

Fawad will be travelling to Melbourne with his co-star Sonam Kapoor in the second week of August to attend the Indian Film Festival, according to Pinkvilla.

The duo will be accompanied by Anil Kapoor for the special screening of Disney & Anil Kapoor Film Company's Khoobsurat.

Sonam will be among the guests of honours. She will also be supporting Anil Kapoor's films Dil Dhadakne Do, 1942 A Love Story and Mr. India, showcasing at the festival.

Fawad recently declined an offer to star in Sonam's sister Rhea's next production Battle for Bittora due to the date issues.

However, according to a recent report, Fawa is said to be taking KJo's advice for his choice of roles. He is currently shooting for Karan Johar's Kapoor and Sons. The director is also said to be behind his exit from the Kapoors' film as he believed Battle for Bittora won't do any good to Fawad's career.
