“Gunmen riding on a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire on a cab in the Ferozabad area of Sabzal Road, resulting in the immediate death of two men on board,” SHO Saryab Musthaq Ahmed told The Express Tribune.
The deceased were shifted to the Civil Hospital where they were identified as Raz Muhammad and Muhammad Tahir. “The victims, welders by profession, belonged to Pashtun’s Khilji tribe,” Ahmed said, adding that it could be the case of some family feud.
Separately, the Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman said that the paramilitary force and intelligence agency carried out a search operation in the Pidrak area of Turbat in which a local commander of a banned outfit was killed and two others were wounded.
The slain commander, identified as Waris, had been blamed for a number of terrorist activities in Turbat.
