Better Investigation: Police to use smartphones

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police will provide smartphones to their investigation officers (IOs) in a bid to improve sharing and gathering the evidence. A police officer, who asked not to be named, said over 300 android mobile phones have been handed over to the Islamabad Police IG under the Safe City Project. He said the IOs, deputed at police stations, will share the evidence and case details with the IG and SSPs through the mobile phones.
