Judicial commission: Report indicates success of democracy
The responsibility of cooperating with the Election Reforms Committee fell on the shoulders of all the parties
PESHAWAR:
Addressing journalists at the residence of an MPA in Mardan, ANP provincial president Amir Haider Khan Hoti accepted the judicial commission’s report, and exhorted all political parties to put aside hostilities and work together. “After the report, political differences should cease to exist and PTI Chairman Imran Khan should cooperate.” Hoti said on Sunday, “Kala Bagh Dam issues have been buried forever, and PTI and Muslim League should move beyond their political rivalry.” He believed the report was not the success or the failure of anyone but an indication of the success of democracy in the country. “Everyone knows about rigging in general elections against ANP but we have accepted the commission report, and expect a similar attitude from others, particularly PTI chairman,” said Hoti. He said after the decision of the commission, the responsibility of cooperating with the Election Reforms Committee fell on the shoulders of all the parties.
