Crime file: Police defuse landmine in Nasirabad

QUETTA: Police foiled a sabotage bid and defused a landmine in Chithar area of Nasirabad district on Sunday. Acting on information, a police party rushed to the site along with bomb disposal squad team and defused the landmine which was planted beside the road by unidentified persons. Separately, security forces detained three suspects in Pasni area of Balochistan during a search operation and hauled them away for interrogation. In Chaman town, unidentified armed men shot dead Qari Ismail and fled. In a separate incident as many as four people including a woman were injured in a road accident near Garrani area of the district on Sunday. According to Levies force, the victims were going in a car when an over speeding oil tanker hit them. Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a clash between two groups over minor issue in Dera Allahyar area of Jaffarabad district.
