Bereavement: The Express Tribune staffer grieved

The grandmother of The Express Tribune’s Life and Style Editor Rafay Mehmood passed away on Sunday at the age of 87. The deceased, Afifa Mehmood, had been bedridden for the past few months. Her funeral prayers were held at Asr prayer on Sunday and she was laid to rest at Sakhi Hasan graveyard. The Quran khawani for her soul will be held at Rafay Mehmood’s residence – A-183, Block 13-D-1, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi – on Monday and Tuesday from 11:00am till Maghrib prayers.
