PESHAWAR:

Three members of a family were killed in Bazid Khel village within the jurisdiction of Badhaber police station Saturday night.

According to the police, Shahid Khan allegedly opened fire on his stepfather, Hussain Jamal, his mother, Naseem Taj, and sister, Azmat Bibi.

All three died on the spot. Khan managed to flee after committing the crime.

“The assailant’s mother had married Jamal after the death of her first husband,” a police official told The Express Tribune. “All of them lived in the same house.

However, Khan developed differences with his family and moved out. On Saturday night, he visited the house and gunned them down.” A case has been registered against the accused and police are searching for him.
