A Saudi-led airstrike on Yemen's Taiz killed at least 80 people and left 150 others injured, news agency Saba reported on Saturday.
Iran-allied Houthi forces in Yemen are being bombarded by a Saudi-led coalition of Arab states since March in a bid to reinstate President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Saba agency quoted a source in Taiz as saying that the targeted Mokha area was inhabited mostly by engineers, displaced family workers of a power station.
The number of casualties is expected to rise as rescue services are still working in the area. Several of those injured and transferred to nearby hospitals are in serious condition, the source said.
