ISLAMABAD:

The prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Friday appealed to peace-loving countries across the world to press India into stopping gross human rights violations committed by its security forces in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Speaking to delegation of Kashmiri refugees at the Kashmir House in Islamabad, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed said the civilised world should take serious notice of state terrorism being committed by India to suppress the indigenous struggle of the Kashmiri people.

He said Kashmiris are struggling to liberate themselves from India and added that Indian atrocities would never be able to keep them from their internationally recognised right to self determination. “The liberation movement of Kashmiris will be successful. Indian tactics will fail to stop it.”

The AJK premier said his government stands shoulder-to-shoulder with their brethren in Indian Kashmir.
