Pakistani film Bin Roye recently premiered in Karachi, where the two leading ladies of the film, Mahira Khan and Armeena Rana Khan, opted for entirely different looks. While the public waits to see if the film will move them to tears, we shed some tears of joy after seeing the two Ms Khans sizzle on the red carpet.
Mahira Khan
Outfit
Mahira is known for carrying whatever she wears with ease and grace. For the premiere, she opted for a Muse signature white top, belted with a wide metallic gold belt and a not-so-conventional lehenga. Muse is a design label known for their Parisian aesthetics and Mahira’s lehenga leaves us wishing she had picked something that reflected more of that.
Hair and make-up
Her hairstyle and minimal make-up were on-point as she consciously chose to make her outfit the centre of attention. Centre-parted and pulled-back hair in a neat chignon and minimal make-up made her look every bit the superstar that she is.
Accessories
Mahira chose Outhouse jewels, which are eclectic pieces that add a taste of modern glam to any outfit. She wore futuristic-looking ear cuffs along with a palm band of the same brand.
Armeena Rana Khan
Outfit
Armeena played up her Barbie doll looks in a dusty pink Sobia Nazir ensemble but her outfit seemed better-suited for a wedding than the red carpet premiere of her debut film. Over-the-top embellishments on the sleeves, sheer material and a boring silhouette made this look a complete downer.
Hair and make-up
Armeena’s pretty features don’t need much make-up and she kept it simple to let her outfit do the talking. She left her hair in loose curls — a safe look but definitely not a head-turner.
Accessories
She wore long earrings that looked like an extension of the work on her outfit and a dull-gold clutch bag that didn’t quite compliment her outfit.
